Teachers worked out“ the checklist of developing the plan for units of reading Japanese texts in elementaryschool,” as a step for improving pupils’ language skills. This paper explored how the checklist influenced experimentalgroups. The checklist was based on target analysis of reading proficiency, class models, and models in unit.
