Technology is playing an increasingly important role in language teaching, and making it easier than ever for students to pursue language studies on their own, outside of the classroom. Podcasting is one such technology that is gaining popularity. This paper will introduce a project in which students produce their own English podcasts. This project is unique because it benefits both the project members, who improve their speaking ability, and also provides a valuable learning resource for audience members who can use the podcasts to practice listening skills. The author will analyze the attitudes of project members and students who listened to the podcasts in order to measure the extent to which both groups felt podcasts helped them improve their English skills.
