A Study of Execution of dharma in Japanese Police dramas ─Cases of“ The Partne(r Aibou)” and“ Bayside Shakedown(Odoru daisousasen)”─

 In this paper, the author intends to examine Indian thought included in two Japanese Police dramas,“The Partne(Aibou)” and “Bayside Shakedown(Odoru daisousasen)”. Ukyo Sugisihita is the hero of “The Patner”. His acts shows ethics which is called execution of the duty(dharma)of the Bhagavadgita, a classical epic poetry of India. And Shinji Muroi from “Bayside Shakedown” , who is the head of the investigation headquarters of Metropolitan Police Department, accepts allthe investigator's perplexity and pain, as Krsna of Bhagavadgita, did. We therefore concluded that these two dramas have the same theme as Bhagavadgita,
