Eight community-dwelling elderly individuals paticipated (mean age = 72.1, SD = 3.7). After self-monitoring the implementation of the diet, oral hygiene, and physical activity for 4 weeks, and conducting a semi-structured interview, we conducted a qualitative analysis of the results. Information on self-confidence, feedback, and usability was extracted. The results showed that self-monitoring leads to the continuation of desirable health management behavior of the elderly.
