Support for Parents of Children with Developmental Difficulties : A Survey of Habilitation Staff

The parents having a child with developmental difficulties were devoted to the care of their children. A considerable number of studies have been made on secondary behavioral problems and nonadaptation in their children’s school days. It is important to support a child with developmental difficulties in preschool. The purpose of this study was to investigate about their need of support and issues for the parents from habilitation staffs who were working at a child guidance clinics, developmental centers, and nursery schools for early intervention. In conclusion, it was evident to habilitation staff that sleep and lifestyle rhythm are Important for early intervention needs and development.
