In the context of classroom skills in teacher-training, two of the most important skills for students are divided into those of instructional design and the expansion of classroom expertise, which are based on instructional design logic theory. The focus of this paper, however, is on the study of teaching materials that contribute to instructional design skills, and its concrete effectiveness in practical application within Mathematics Teaching Materials as part of the taught teacher-training curriculum. In this course, the teacher-students begin to understand the difficulties pertaining to the study of compulsory basic teaching materials from their students’ perspective at an emotional level, and subsequently utilize this knowledge to make original lesson plans. The results from the surveys administered at the end of the course clearly indicate that, if lesson plans are designed by the teacher-students and experienced in the framework of demonstration classes, they can gain valuable teaching resources in how to cope with actual teaching situations they may encounter in their junior high school classrooms.
