High repetition rate and high pulse energy laser system as a pump sources for Ti:sapphire laser used in laser-driven plasma soft X-ray laser system is required. We developed a new Nd:YAG laser system using master oscillator power amplifier platform. The maximum output energy as over 4 J was obtained at an operating frequency of 50 Hz with a negligible amplified spontaneous emission.
