Conference Paper Development of MW Gyrotrons and Equatorial Launcher for ITER

Oscillation of 1MW at quad-frequency 203GHz, 170 GHz, 137GHz and 104GHz was demonstrated with a high-order mode (TE31,11) gyrotron developed for ITER. The final design of the ITER equatorial launcher has being implemented. The RF prototype testing to validate the millimeter wave design of the launcher was carried out and the results confirmed the steering range and quality of mm-wave beam and in-directly the transmission efficiency.
