We observed synchrotron-radiation-based Mössbauer absorption spectra of Ni2[C8O6H2] metal-organic framework (Ni-MOF-74), Ni nanoparticles made by the complete heat decomposition of Ni-MOF-74, and the composites of Ni nanoparticles and Ni-MOF-74 made by partial decomposition of Ni-MOF-74. Despite the non-enriched samples, we successfully measured their spectra in one day or less by using a high efficient measurement system in which the internal conversion electrons were detected. The Mössbauer parameters of the Ni nanoparticles in the composites were obtained although the composites consist of the nanoparticles and surrounding Ni-MOF-74, both of which include Ni element. Furthermore, we succeed to observe the effect of the surrounding Ni-MOF-74 to the nanoparticles; the magnetic hyperfine field of the Ni nanoparticles in the composites was smaller than that of the Ni nanoparticles by the complete heat decomposition. This implies that 3d and/or 4s electrons of the nanoparticles in the composites are affected by the surrounding Ni-MOF-74.
