The precise measurements of energy spectra and spatial distributions for the MeV/n-class laser-accelerated ions from CO_2 clusters embedded in H_2 background gas target have been carried out. The obtained energy spectra and spatial distributions with uncertainty 0.1 MeV/n and a few μm, respectively, enable us to discuss the acceleration mechanism of laser-accelerated ions.
