Presentation On the pointing stability of laser accelerated electron beams

The achieved pointing fluctuations of laser accelerated electron beams are reviewed and compared with required value in the x-ray free electron laser. The current achievement in laser accelerated electron is larger than that of the required value for XFEL and 100-1000 times worse than that of the driving laser. I make a hypothesis that the fluctuation comes from the instability or uncontrollability during injection.
