Presentation Spatio-temporal diagnosis of laser-plasma formation on transparent solid probed by VUV reflection

Recently, we demonstrated that time-resolved vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) reflection spectroscopy enables us to extract the time-dependent reflectivity of laser plasma and the VUV waveform simultaneously. In this study, our attention is directed to the spatial mode of plasma reflection as well as the temporal characteristics. The retrieved temporal VUV waveform shows the pulse duration of around 20 fs (FWHM) irrespective of the spatial regions. On the other hand, it is revealed that the spatial dependence of the reflectivity appears in the inside of the VUV beam profile.
