A tool was developed to facilitate calculations of the early internal doses to residents involved in the Tokyo Electric Power Company’s (TEPCO’s) Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (FDNPP) accident based on Atmospheric Transport and Dispersion Model (ATDM) simulations by the Worldwide version of System for Prediction of Environmental Emergency Information 2nd version (WSPEEDI-II) together with personal behavior data containing the history of whereabouts after the accident. The tool generates hourly-averaged air concentration data at the simulation grids nearest to the whereabouts from datasets of the WSPEEDI-II. This paper describes the overview of the developed tool and demonstrates tentative comparisons between direct measurement-based and calculated internal doses to 411 persons with the data available.
