Presentation Calculation of the Scattering of Polarized Gamma Rays as a Means to Measure the Vacuum via Nearly Isolated Delbrück scattering

Due to technological advances in laser Compton backscattering sources high flux, linearly polarized gamma rays sources having tunable energies and small energy spreads have become possible. To investigate whether the elastic scattering of polarized gamma rays off the Coulomb field of nuclei (Delbrück scattering) can be isolated from other elastic processes, which occur, we need high resolution in scattering angle and photon energy and developed a code to calculate it.
