||Proposal of direct reaction cross section measurements on an excited state to study explosive nucleosyntheses

High peak power laser has been developed quickly, which leads to generation of new types of radiations such as electrons, gamma-rays. We have proposed experiments using laser driven high intense radiations for nuclear astrophysics. A laser pulse is divided into a pre-pulse to create hot plasma and a main pulse to generate high intense radiation like gamma-rays or neutrons. Our aim is to measure nuclear reaction cross sections on an excited state in a nucleus.
