In this research, we revised the size of electrode, the pasting position of electrodes, the pasting method of electrodes and the measurement method of MVC(Maximum Voluntary Contraction) in order to measure the activity of facial muscles precisely. Firstly, the size of electrode reduced from 11mm to 8mm in diameter in order to measure the activity of only target muscle. Secondly, the pasting position was decided anatomically. Thirdly, we employed a pasting method of electrodes that does not obstruct the performance of musical instruments. Fourthly, in the measurement of MVC we required subjects to create facial expressions strongly that specific facial muscle moves actively.
