Efficient cellular macromolecular delivery is challenging because of the nature of plasma membranes, which restrict the uptake of macromolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids. W e previously created a biodegradable, rigid and fibrous artificial protein, CCPC 140, as a potential vehicle for cellular macromolecular delivery. CCPC 140 had superior cell-penetrating activity. In this study, we are going to develop artificial proteins having both superior cell -penetrating activity and endosomal escape activity.
