In order to mitigate thermal environment in urban street space, the experiments to evaluate mitigation effects by sheet type sunshade and upward reflection film, were carried out. From the results of the experiment of sheet type sunshade, the mitigation effects is different by the radiation performance of sunshade. And in case of upward reflection film, it is effective for mitigating thermal environment both of indoor and outdoor. So it seems to be important to select the mitigation method of thermal environment with the optimal radiation performance responded to the use of the space.
