Departmental Bulletin Paper QoEに基づく端末・ネットワーク連携トラヒック制御方式に関する研究(学内特別研究)

The recent growth of smartphone and tablet market has led to increased demand for mobile multimedia communication. This change resulted in pressing technological problems that require much more sophisticated traffic engineering solutions. In particular, traffic control that can satisfy users' Quality of Experience (QoE) is essential in operating communication networks efficiently and robustly. This article is the second-year report on our ongoing research on a QoE-oriented traffic control schemes based on collaboration between end-user terminals and network functions.
