This study examines previous studies of boundary crossing about practical knowledge. Practical knowledge which takes so much time to acquire is getting disappeared due to rapid economic and social change. However, Practical knowledge in traditional art and dance is revived by people who wish to reconnect the generation. This phenomenon is important for growth of the economy. Because reviving the practical knowledge sometimes leads to create innovation by connecting the new knowledge. I call this phenomenon boundary crossing of generation. This study clarifies previous studies of boundary crossing about practical knowledge from the view point of psychology.
