This article is written to make clear the problem about the current reform of Japanese moral education. Firstly, it mentions the recent development of Japanese moral education, especially its new position as “Moral Education as a special subject”. And it points out the movement of Neo-nationalism groups behind current educational policies under Abe ministration. Furthermore, it mentions the change of educational objects, contents, and methods of Japanese moral education which follows the “subjectionalization”of moral education. This analysis covers the substantial national textbook “Our Japanese Moral”. Finally, it suggests some critical points about what we should consider about the nation of moral and its education.
