This study examines the sense of self-efficacy on dealing with problems in career choice processes. The longitudinal data of senior year students (N=80) was used to statistically analyze correlational and causal relationships. The results of correlational analysis showed that “having interests in several occupations” and “picking an occupation out of several choices” were negatively correlated. The results of path analysis indicated that “having interests in several occupations” in sophomore year significantly influenced the same tendency in junior year. Also, the sense of “being able to choose the occupation that suits my interest and ability” in sophomore year significantly predicted the sense of “being able to pick an occupation out of several choices” in junior year. Moreover, “having interests in several occupations” in junior year positively influenced the sense of “being able to deal with problems when I fail to get the job I want” in senior year. On the assumption that majority of the participants were aspired to become teachers, the importance of being open to new experiences and having interests in various occupations was emphasized. Lastly, the possible student supports were discussed.
