Recently, checking employees’ stress level became a mandatory. The reason why\checking employees’ stress level becomes critical is that the employer can take\appropriate actions when necessary. Tolerance against stress, however, does not build\over night. Therefore, if students do not have an opportunity to cultivate resiliency\during college years, they have to develop on their own. Probably, in the past, university\expected students personally develop their resiliency before their graduation. This\expectation, however, is not easily reached today, and the number shows that about 30%\of the college graduates leave their first job during their first three years.\In this paper, we use Hirano’s (2012) definition of resiliency. She states that\resiliency is the characteristics of person who gets back up regardless of the harsh and\stressful situation. S/he can also adjust to a situation even after s/he gets emotionally\hurt. Therefore, we believe that resiliency is one of the important factors for college\graduates to stay in their job longer than three years of their employment. Then,\colleges and universities need to develop an educational program to cultivate resiliency\as a part of career education. To start developing such educational program and to\further study on students’ resiliency, higher education first needs to develop to measure\college students’ stress level. In this paper, the authors will report how they developed\the stress measurement questionnaire for college students based on Vocational\Featured Stress Questionnaire.\This paper provides eight stress factors of college students as well as examination\of reliability of these factors. Factors include 1.“ Supportiveness,” 2.“ Willingness,” 3.\“Burdens,” 4.“ Recognition,” 5.“ Superficial Stress,” 6.“ Meaningfulness,” 7.“ Feeling\Stressed,” and 8.“ Praise.”
