The study group on community welfare in the future has proposed that individuals should be autonomous in resolving their lives and living issues. To accomplish this, an alternative support system must be established in the community. This study assumes having face-to-face relationships between the local residents and intends to consider the benefits of the same. When an individual’s life and living issues are recognized, they become not a mere object person but tojisha (the party involved)-centered, based on difficulties in their lives. Furthermore, by positioning tojisha in the interaction between the local residents, their existence appears as tojisha. If interactions are limited, tojisha appears only in unsociable relations, and it is not possible for the local residents to know tojisha. By paying attention to main bases of activity in the community, we can analyze the methods of interaction there. We can investigate the relationship of mutual recognition between the local residents of the community and the appearance and self-transformation of tojisha.
