Space Environments Exposure Tests of Function Thin-Film Devices for Solar Sail

The use of functional thin-film devices have recognized as one of the most viable way to provide high function to large and light-weight structures for future space missions. To evaluate the availability on the space of these devices, we proposed a space environment exposure experiment utilizing the Exposed Facility of the Japanese Experimental Module (JEM) in the International Space Station (ISS). This paper introduces overview of the mission and reports its development status.
