Yakka Hitsubi "譯家必備" was written by Chinese translators in Nagasaki. It is consumed that in these manuscripts the actual conversation between the Chinese translator and Chinese are recorded as it is. These manuscripts are considered as valuable language resources, because only foreign language learners would record actual conversation as it really is. Besides it is very rare to see the same kind of resource at the same period in China. In other words, those manucripts are extremely valuable as a resource to research oral Chinese, and we could get a clue from them to know how the Chinese was spoken in 18th century.
