Description
This paper presents a new reflection mechanism in a functional reactive programming language designed for resource-constrained embedded systems. In this mechanism, reflective operations in a program module are realized using time-varying values. They are connected to the runtime system of the module and provide declarative ways to observe or control the runtime. In other words, reflective operations in the language are also reactive. This work-in-progress paper introduces the current prototype of a reflective FRP language as well as an example.
