We study supersonic flow of weakly ionized plasma through an open magnetic field line. While the flows of ion and neutral are treated by particle-based Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method, electron is treated as a fluid. In this study, we find that the ion temperature defined as anisotropic temperature is closer to the experiment result than the isotropic temperature.
