The present article deals with the problem of how student teachers’ anxieties change. This problem is related to the following five points of student guidance on the basis of the results from the questionnaires: guidance for learning lifestyle-related habits, guidance for following social norms, guidance for understanding classes, guidance for keeping away problematic behavior, and guidance for keeping an open mind. What we are concerned here is how we should advise student teachers before they do practice teaching at elementary schools in order to ease their anxieties
