The movement for gender equality has been put into practice nationwide, and the results of the related attitude surveys have been collected. In this report, I analyze the questionnaire survey of Saiki-shi, Oita, carried out in 2013, from a view point different from that of the report published by the city authorities. I investigate mainly the differences in the results between men and women and between the generations using Cramer's coefficient of association. I interpret sociologically that the tendency to overestimate one's own domestic contribution brings about the difference in answers between men and women, and that they tend to assume they are themselves responsible for the insufficiency of equality.
