心肺持久性評価指標としての相対心拍数増加率(Δ%HR/ΔWR)と健康関連因子(身体組成及び呼吸循環機能に関連する諸指標)の相互関連を検討するために,21~33歳の健常男性32名を対象に,Δ%HR/ΔWRを基準変数とし,身長,体重,体脂肪率,安静時心拍数,最大血圧,最小血圧,%肺活量,1秒率肺活量,赤血球数,ヘモグロビン量,ヘマトクリット値,赤血球恒数(MCV,MCH,MCHC)の14項目を説明変数として,変数増減法による重回帰分析を行った。結果的に,ネガティブな変数として体重,MCV及び%肺活量,ポジティブな変数として身長,体脂肪率及び最大血圧が採択され,重相関係数は0.82(p<0.001)であった。これらのことから,相互関連的に,体重,MCV及び%肺活量の値が大きいほど,さらに身長,体脂肪率及び最高血圧の値が小さいほど,Δ%HR/ΔWRの値が小さい(心肺持久性が高い)と考えられた。
An assessment method for cardiorespiratory endurance has been developed for non-athletes. The method uses a simple index(Δ%HR/ΔWR): “the slope of modified relative heart rate on work rate” during incremental exercise on a cycle ergometer. In this study, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the interrelationship between the Δ%HR/ΔWR and health related factors(14 indexes on body composition and cardiorespiratory function). Subjects were 32 healthy men aged between 21 and 33(mean 26.5)years. A criterion variable in the multiple regression analysis was the Δ%HR/ΔWR. Explanatory variables were the health related factors, which were height, weight, Percentage of body fat(%Fat), Resting heart rate(HRrest), Systolic blood pressure(SBP), Diastolic blood pressure(DBP), Red blood cell(RBC), Hemoglobin(Hb), Hematocrit(Ht), Mean corpuscular volume(MCV), Mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH), Mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC), Percentage of Vital capacity(%VC)and Percentage of forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1.0%). Consequently, weight, MCV and %VC were selected as negative variables by the stepwise forward multiple regression analysis. Height, %Fat and SBP were also selected as positive variables. The multiple correlation coefficient of the stepwise analysis was 0.82(p<0.001). In conclusion, it is interrelatively suggested that the higher the values of weight, MCV and %VC are, and also the lower the values of Height, %Fat and SBP are, the lower the Δ%HR/ΔWR is(the higher cardiorespiratory endurance is).
