This study was clarified the actual situation of the ways to utilize multimedia DAISY books function, toward the construction of learning support system that utilizes multimedia DAISY books for children with developmental dyslexia and dysgraphia. As a result, although high utilization rate of “highlighting”, “text-to-speech function”, and utilization rate of “change of color of the background, text, and highlight” was low. Also, as viewed from the perspective of the type of disabilities and learning difficulties, children with intellectual disabilities read the sentence to utilizing the more of multimedia DAISY books function than children with developmental disabilities did. In the future, it will consider increasing the number of cases, and conduct a survey in children utilizing the multimedia DAISY book for verifying effectiveness.
