This paper describes the use of a transverse electrooptic probe to measure the electric field strength of an organic photovoltaic (OPV) cell model. It is necessary to measure the voltage of each OPV cell in order to diagnose failure of the OPV. We confirmed the principle of superposition for the electric field strength from each OPV cell model. These results show that the calibration of each OPV cell voltage can be accomplished by measuring the electric field strength over the OPV cells.Key Words : Organic photovoltaic, electrooptic probe, electric field strength
