Description
HPM (Hybrid Type Penalty Method) is one of the feasible methods for analyzing discontinuous phenomenon such as slippage and collapse. This method can be applied to framed structural analysis, and an algorithm for static collapse analysis of framed structures using HPM has been proposed. On the other hand, the importance of dynamic frame collapse analysis is increasing recently. However, this kind of algorithm for numerical analysis using HPM has not been developed. In this paper, I develop an algorithm for dynamic framed structural analysis using HPM and verify the accuracy and stability of the solution through some numerical examples.This method can be applied to framed structural analysis, and an algorithm for static collapse analysis of framed structures using HPM has been proposed.
