The current understanding is that urban space is necessary to develop and design in terms of maintenance and promotion of health in the future. The purpose of this study is to the actual situation of detailed human movements and physical activities in daily life at Tokyo Metropolitan, extract property of the route used in daily life and reexamine the concept of road design. Here it has been found that about 40% of the number of steps per day was the amount generated by the walking activity through the urban space. Moreover, the health maintenance and promotion of the responsibility and the possibility for people with urban space were recognized. Finally, it was evident from the data that the road actually used in daily life were, the number of to choose shortest path were few, selected by various external and internal factors of the pedestrian.
