In order to increase the thermal storage of right-weight constructions, various types of heavy masonry heaters were traditionally built in wooden buildings. As the contemporary application, the room temperature fluctuation of wooden buildings with heat reservoir was numerically simulated to optimize the size and materials of reservoir. On the basis of the simulation results, some building prototypes were proposed.
