The study examined the effects of the terraced classroom thermal environment on students’ psychological condition. The thermal environment was continuously measured at several points during the 90-min lectures in May 2013. Students were asked to complete a questionnaire on their seat location and psychological condition every 15 min. Physical data and psychological data were analyzed spatiotemporally in detail. In this study, the problems of a spatiotemporally heterogeneous thermal environment in a large classroom and students’ psychological condition during a lecture were clarified.
