This research is a proposal of the real-world oriented interface using the special qualities of shadow which assumed small public space like a regional museum. A shadow is possible to recognize as a metaphor of the main body. Accordingly, I made the system which sets the cylindrical object as main body. This system projects artificial shadows and regional maps. I pursued the plain expression which attracts notice by operating the cylindrical object actually. This research developed the prototype interface for evaluation experiment. The purpose is to verify that this system using a Kinect and artificial shadows can exploit effectively as interactive interface. And, I develop the more effective interface from the results.
