STUDY ON VARIABILITY ANALYSIS AND REDUCTION MEASURES OF THE NUTRITIVE SALTS CONCENTRATION USING A HYDROLOGIC CYCLE ANALYSIS MODEL IN THE EDO CASTLE OUTER MOATS

Aggravation of the water quality is a serious problem in the Edo Castle outer moats due to CSO (Combined Sewer Overflow). People are in trouble to bad odor and landscape deterioration. However, concrete measures are not carried out. In this study, focused on rainwater storage facilities andmovable effluent weir of storm overflow as water quality improvement measures. Introduction effect of these facilities was derived by considering calculation of water quality improvement measure to a hydrologic cycle analysis model. As a result, it is an effective means for water quality improvementto store of CSO due to the initial rainfall and to increase the amount of CSO with low pollution load.
