SYNTHESIS OF TITANIUM OXIDE NANOPARTICLES BY LASER ABLATION IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION

Crystalline TiO2nanoparticles were synthesized in water containing H2O2, and anatase were synthesized by laser ablation in liquid. Particles synthesized in water containing high concentration, >5wt%, of H2O2were well dispersed, while those synthesized in water containing low concentration, <2wt%, ofH2O2were agglomerated. Prepared nanoparticles in water containing H2O2includedanatase phase, although those in ultrapure water were composed of pure rutile.
