We investigated whether different features in the face image are gazed at while making impression judgments in different personality traits. For each pair of faces, subjects decided which one was more extreme with respect to either of the traits in question, while their eye movements were measured by a rapid eye-movement measurement system. The eye-movement results were represented in 2D histograms to indicate the spatial distribution of the cumulative duration of the gaze at each fixation point.
