The purpose of this paper is to consider what significant activities for mathematics learning in schools are. The investigations concerning original mathematics experiences in school days were conducted through questionnaire. The following five items were identified through the analysis of the responses: “Impression of surprising”, “Experiences of measurement activities”, “Experiences of making something or drafting a formula by oneself ”, “Experiences of clearing something”, and “Experiences of teachers encouragements” It is suggested that these five items are the triggers which will construct students’ their own original good unforgettable experiences in learning mathematics.
