Based on Kazumi (2014, 2015), this study looks at how identification of particular words in listening affects identification of their structurally related words: for example, verb and its object, relative pronoun and its antecedent, etc. This study supplements the results in Kazumi (2014, 2015), which mainly focused on the ability to hear phonetically difficult part such as function words, and provides a new perspective for future research.
