Yamada Waka(1879-1957) was a Japanese woman commentator, feminist activist, and social worker who supported importance of motherhood influenced by Ellen key's ideal. She regarded home and family based on mother's love as important. In this research, with examination of waka's private photos and date, it is revealed that her own family life was well-loved one.
