Thoughts on Identity Construction Principal : An Analysis of Narratives in an Interview

ミラー, 成三

[Abstract] Recent studies have shown that there are two types of identity: one is the unstable and integral identity that is organized during interactions, and the other is a relatively fixed identity that is formed by accumulation and sedimentation of the preceding identity. In this study, I will argue that identities which are organized during interactions are based on the own person’s awareness of identity construction. I will discuss that this awareness is formed by identities that were organized and reorganized through the various interactions they have participated in, as well as the latter idea previously listed above. For this purpose, I analyzed the small stories narrated by interview, and examined them by the typological approach method.
