For the purpose of detecting misconception in Newtonian mechanics that students majoring in humanities and social science have, we gave Force Concept Inventory (FCI) test to those who attended the classes of "Physics in Daily Life" in KIKAN Education. We find that they have very low scores for several questions, most of which are closely related to impetus misconception. Principal component analysis of the students' answers reveals that these questions have large components of the eigenvector corresponding to the largest eigenvalue of the correlation coefficient matrix. Effects of introducing "Basic Physics" into the high school curriculum are briefly discussed.
