||Social skills development in school physical education : A review

This article presents a review of studies on social skills development in school physical education (PE). First, several theories and models related to social development in school PE were introduced. Then, studies tested the effects of adopting those theories and models as well as other strategies on developing social skills in school PE settings were reviewed. Finally, the current status and future outlook of studies on social skills development as a function of PE in China were discussed.
